Currently, our view is that the iPhone is the only platform that allows us to develop an application with the right user experience and feature-set that we want to publish as an official monitoring application, particularly with the push notification alerts functionality that the iPhone has.

It might be true that business professionals are more likely to have a Blackberry, but we think it is more likely that the techies who need the server monitoring will have an iPhone. Of course we are aware that Android is becoming more popular amongst the technical community as well.

That said, we built the iPhone app with our API and so this could be used to implement an Android or Blackberry application as well.

@Dattas

Totally agree, I have a G1 and Symbian device, either app for these would be perfect.
Maybe I should develop one for them, any others interested?

Great to see server monitoring though.

Why is there no Andoid or BlackBerry application for Server Monitoring? Seems like those would be much more useful for business professionals.
