Hello,

When i try to log into the console i use the username "root" but when i want to add my password it wont let me type anything at all. I can only type my username and not my password.

Try hitting 'enter' - it does let you type but the letters will not show in the password line.

cool thanks for the help im now logged in. Do i have to update the software for the VPS? And what else do i need to do?

the current images are very basic. So it's a good idea to do an update. Depending on what you'd like to do with the server you might also want to install more software on the server.
