Wow I didn't know this when signing up. Can it also be a wildcard certificate or must it be a specific domain/subdomain?

Ok. Those do tend to be expensive. Didn't know if you guys had some special deal/agreement with Comodo or something. I went and looked and saw they have 90 day certificates free. Is that the service you're using?

No they are full one year certs. I believe they are using Comodo's host API system that allows them to create an unlimited number of certs on their servers but vps.net (UK2, Westhost, Resell.biz etc.) has to provide all support. You will get an automated authentication message from Comodo at your admin email but it seems to be initiated by vps.net support.

Nice! That's a pretty awesome service.
Glad I chose VPS.net. I don't have a use for a certificate yet, but it's good to know about this.
