I'm now using Hostbill, I love it's design. Overall a much better experience with Hostbill than WHMCS. They've won me over.
HostBill now free for all VPS.NET clients

I finally got around to installing Host Bill today. I had put it on the back burner since their support department said that it could not support ISPmanager.
Upon installation I noticed that it does indeed support ISPmanager.
Second I noticed that although my sign-up e-mail states "VPS.net free license" The admin interface says "Expires: 2010-10-15"
So is this free or just a demo?
I will give it a spin in the next few days but would really like to iron out the free part.

Mine says it expires in 2012 (The end of the world ;)) but I'm sure if you contact hostbill support they'll fix that for you.
I'm also sure that once the date is reached they will extend it as long as you are still using it on a VPS.net server.

Just create a support ticket at hostbill and they will extend your license..
And it works on servers with ispmanager, and it shouldnt be a problem at all..

Thank you Eick and Jake,
I did get it sorted out. Apparently the default ioncube install from the ioncube website is for apache2/php.ini and does not include the cli/php.ini instructions thus cron would not run to update the license.
I was able to add the ioncube loaders to the cli/php.ini and it worked smoothly after that.
Many Thanks,
-Benjamin
