New templates: CloudLinux Server 5.5 x64 Rate Topic: -----

Hello

We are glad to release new 'CloudLinux Server 5.5 x64' templates:

- the basic installation
- with Apache web server installed
- with MySQL, Apache servers and PHP installed
- with cPanel control Panel
- with ISPmanager system

This is the latest release registered with "CloudLinux Network".
LVE version is: 0.6


The templates are available for all clouds. Please find them at 'CloudLinux' (OS section).

The templates Wiki pages are:

Hey Steve...

You got any good experiance with Cpanel and cloudlinux? do they work well together, no big problems or anything?

Not yet, but as soon as SAN2.0 becomes available, I'll be creating a number of shared hosting servers with CloudLinux + cPanel. Maybe someone else with experience can chime in?

Ohh well, anybody else got experiance with Cloud Linux and cpanel?

As far as i know, Helmi use it with ISPmanager but dunno if he is around :P

Sorry didn't see your post - yeah i use them with ISP manager and i'm totally satisfied - working really well.

I'm running cPanel with CloudLinux without any problems. CloudLinux uses the RHE repositories with a couple of changes, so while it's not the same as RHE or CentOS it's very similar, so I'd expect it to act about the same.

I've been running CloudLinux x64 with cPanel for about a week now in a BETA environment and it has been really great. Obviously it is not 100% like CentOS but I find it to be pretty close. No errors or anything odd thus far!
