2 new Salt Lake City clouds are online.. Old SLC to be decommissioned on 6/30/2010

We've just deployed our two new clouds in Salt Lake City.
These two clouds are still 1.x - they are not the 2.x that supports windows, however, they do have newer hardware and many of the improvements that will be in 2.x
What they can't do right now is windows hosting, and redundant SANs.
These SANs are online in order to allow you to move out of the original Salt Lake City cloud.
It's important to note that we do not expect our new 2.0 clouds to be online in time for you to move to them directly, you will need to migrate your server to these new clouds by 6/30/2010
However, great news! You won't need to change IPs, and we provide you with a tool to do this. Simply go to your SLC VPS, and select "Migrate VPS" and choose whether you want to shut down your VPS during the duration of the transfer, or only when absolutely necessary. (If you elect not to shut down the VPS during the duration of the move, you can see some data being lost).
In doing our tests, we saw very good transfer times (<5 minutes per node) - if you have any questions at all, please put in a ticket or ask here.

I guess the obvious question is, when v2.0 goes live and we have to migrate to that platform, will we be able to take advantage of the IP migration tool in other clouds (i.e. London)

Yes..that's the plan. Although there's a few more steps to do, before we make 2.0 live we will modify this tool.

Just a note, we decided to hold off on releasing the link until the morning. Just don't want to release something like this at night. :)

Yes it will.
Both templates will be reopened shortly, along with the migration tool. Just doing some finishing touches.
