I have a small vps on London A. I went to view the website hosted on it and couldnt access it, so i tried via IP rather than domain name, no luck.

I then tried loggin in via winSCP, no go.

Then i logged into vps.net and tried a soft reboot, then force off and restart, but still no access. The vps shows the little yellow lightbulb when restarted, but thats all.

I have never used the online console, but gave that a try and it just black screens.

I do not know what else to do, what can i try? If vps.net are having issues, fine, but how do i tell whats wrong?

I have had this vps for about 1.5 years with no major issues, but im at a loss.

Are you able to ping the IP address?

Thanks for your help

Just tried from a windows cmd prompt and it worked fine:
sent 4 received 4 lost 0
av time 22ms

works for IP and domainname so no DNS issue

but i still cant access anything (inc webmin, mySQL etc)

Any ideas whats up?

EDIT
i have tried from various locations and devices, so its not a local problem. Also cannot connect via PuTTy either.

I cant think of any other way of connecting to the VPS.
