How to Change Hostname

Hi,
I am having issues sending email and my feedback states "The Reverse DNS lookup for your IP address is failing." I have gone into my /etc/hostname and changed the name, then reboot the system. The name however stays the same, I then went into my vps.net control panel and there doesn't seem to be any way of changing it. Is there something else I need to do?

You need to file a ticket to have rDNS setup. It can't be done at a server level.
